the begining

True to the title… this post is the first of many (hopefully). Hopefully, because I usually lose interest in most of the things that I start. This is not because I have a short attention span but because very few things are interesting enough to hold my attention.
This post will be a brief insight into the mind of the author… me! Brief, because it won’t be a smart idea to get into the details of something that is rapidly altering… ‘Dynamic’ is what I’d like to call it. That reminds me of a book I had read not so long ago… it is called ‘The Faraway Tree’ by Enid Blyton. This faraway tree in the magic forest was… well… magical! The most interesting thing about it, other than the magical folk (Moon-face, Saucerpan-man, Dame Wash-a-lot, Angry pixie, Mr. Whatshisname, etc) that lived on the branches… was the tree top that led to a new land every week… such as ‘the land of birthdays’, ‘ the land of slaps’, ‘the land of the know-it-alls’, ‘the land of nursery rhymes’ etc. ( I can go on…!)
So the reference to context is, that my mind-set or call it my state of mind keeps changing with the day or week and today it is in a state of entropy. I’m oscillating between ‘should I finish all the domestic chores that are waiting for me’ or ‘should I keep typing some’nothings’ because it’s fun’. And now suddenly I have this sudden urge to draw a picture of the faraway tree and its folk using crayons. Seriously.

My state-of-mind (in brief):
- Is dynamic (discussed in detail above)
- Is almost always optimistic
- Borders on insanity (at times)
- Is dying to escape the self-imposed imprisonment of social obligations
- Is bored of me (i.e. the boring me)
- Wants to fly and explore
- Uses my zodiac sign as an excuse for its whimsical being (I’m a Piscean)
- Is stimulated by intelligent conversation (related to my line of work)
- Is distracted (yet again)

'till later
